Patrick Stainier is the CEO of Agile Kinship S.L., a Spanish based company specializing in H.R. solutions for Professional Sports. Patrick holds a B.A. in Specialized Ethnology and an M.A. in Economic Anthropology from Université de Paris X-Nanterre. With more than 30 years of involvement in Pro Sports, Patrick has gone from playing for top European teams to Athlete Management and Personal Coaching. After a playing career ended by illness, Patrick coached successfully in France for 10 years. In 1986, he was part of a task team in charge of devising and implementing the French Basketball Federation Development system that yielded such talent as Antoine Rigeaudeau, Tony Parker, Boris Diaw and now Antoine Diot, Nicolas Batum and Rodrigue Beaubois. In 1987, while cumulating head coach and General Manager functions, Patrick became one of the founding members of the French League, namely, “Ligue Nationale de Basket”. Those years gave Patrick a deep understanding of European basketball, international recognition along with solid network with all the major leagues. Furthermore, a US education (High School plus 3 years at the University of Hawaii) and a mixed cultural background, helped him develop a unique capacity to understand the complexity of overseas players recruitment, both from a European and U.S. perspective. As a result, Patrick has been able to recruit or place top US players (men and women), and send some European prospects to the USA. Based in Barcelona since 2002, Patrick is at the heart of the Euroleague and the best league outside the NBA.
